True pre-ban Colt AR-15 rifle, manufactured before September 13, 1994, paired with a newer-production M16-style upper in 5.56 with a 16″ barrel. Really good condition. A great opportunity for collectors and anyone looking for a genuine Massachusetts pre-ban. Includes 1 PMAG.
Description:
Really good condition pre-ban Colt AR-15. The lower is a genuine pre-1994 Colt, making this a true pre-ban rifle — not a post-ban or “compliant” build. It’s paired with a newer-generation M16-style upper chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16″ barrel, giving you the classic military-pattern look with a fresh upper ready to shoot.
Pre-ban Colts are the gold standard for collectors and among the most sought-after rifles in Massachusetts. Colt set the benchmark for AR-15 quality, and documented pre-ban examples continue to hold and grow in value as supply shrinks. Whether you’re a collector adding a piece of black-rifle history or a shooter who wants a true pre-ban, this one checks the box.
